Pilates Classes

We offer Pilates mat classes at all levels, with an initial 1:1 assessment for those not familiar with Pilates.  These mat classes involve a series of classical Pilates exercises performed on a mat with each exercise emphasizing on breath, core conditioning, and body awareness. Instructors will pay special attention to alignment and form.

Props including therabands, small weights and circles may be used to add an extra challenge throughout the class. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert this mat workout will strengthen the core and tone the body. After mastering the basic repertoire in beginner mat classes, you can challenge yourself with the quicker-paced intermediate option.

Machine Classes

Group machine classes include the Reformer, the Cadillac and the Chair. These machines are designed to add resistance and support to a Pilates workout with the use of spring resistance.

We often use these machines as part of 1-to-1 rehabilitation. We also offer small group machine classes. Contact us for more information.

Pregnancy & Post Natal Pilates 

We offer mat based Pregnancy Pilates classes. They are an excellent way to stay active and maintain muscle strength to help with posture and alignment which can start to change with your growing bump. Staying active in pregnancy has many benefits such as reducing the severity and incidence of pelvic girdle pain and lower back pain, improves your mood as well as helping maintain pelvic floor strength and function. Our class allows you to meet with other expectant moms and there is educational content incorporated during the class aimed at optimal positioning, posture advice, pelvic health etc.

Our Post Natal Mum & Baby Pilates classes are the first step in your recovery post baby.  There classes are suitable for individuals 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 12 weeks post c-section delivery. These classes focus on the re-engaging your core and pelvic floor muscles, as well as spinal mobility and total body strengthening. All our classes allow you to include your little one in your exercise. Post Natal Pilates is a stepping stone to getting you back to your Pre-baby activity levels, whether its the gym, jogging or cycling. Our physiotherapists include a Women’s Health Specialist and a Pre and Post Natal Coach who can answer any queries you may have.

Stay Fit Circuits

This is friendly and fun exercises class aimed at those over 65yrs however younger age groups have also found this very beneficial. This is a circuit-based class led by a physiotherapist focusing on improving your strength and conditioning, balance and overall fitness. This class is kept small in order to cater for participants individual needs. An initial assessment of your mobility is determined before commencing the class.

Strength Class

This is a 30 minute class which includes free weights, resistance bands and body weight exercises. Aimed for people who are currently following a rehab / exercise program and wish to get the confidence and encouragement to complete their program and even progress.
